A New Chapter, A Familiar Mission, and One Very Good Dog
Eddie Stephens | Family Law Featured in the 2026–2027 Palm Beach Charity Register
There is something special about seeing a vision become a reality.
When I launched Eddie Stephens | Family Law in September, I wasn’t simply opening another law office. I was beginning a new chapter in a journey that has spanned nearly three decades of practicing law, building relationships, helping families navigate some of life’s most difficult moments, and learning a few things about myself along the way.
So, I am particularly excited to share that our new firm is featured in the 2026–2027 Palm Beach Charity Register, a publication celebrating the extraordinary philanthropic community that makes Palm Beach County such a special place to live and work.
And yes, if you look closely at our feature, you’ll notice that I brought along a rather handsome, four-legged colleague.
Adam Jones has officially made his print advertising debut. 🐾
I’m fairly certain he believes the entire publication is about him.
All kidding aside, being included in a publication that celebrates charitable giving and community involvement is particularly meaningful to me.
Throughout my career, I’ve believed that being a lawyer means more than practicing law. It means using the opportunities, experiences, and relationships we’ve been fortunate enough to develop to make a difference in the lives of others.
Whether through my work with the Center for Child Counseling, Leadership Palm Beach County, A Promise Kept Foundation, or the many other organizations doing extraordinary things in our community, I’ve learned that the most meaningful measure of success isn’t simply what we accomplish. It’s what we contribute.
That philosophy is woven into the DNA of our new firm.
We believe in exceptional legal representation. We believe in preparation, professionalism, and fiercely advocating for our clients. But we also believe in compassion, personal attention, and remembering that behind every legal dispute is a human story.
And speaking of stories…
Help Us Share Stephens’ Squibs!
For more than two decades, I’ve published Stephens’ Squibs, sharing developments in Florida family law, practical legal insights, and occasionally a little humor along the way.
What began in 2004 has grown into something I’m incredibly proud of, and with our new firm comes an exciting new chapter for the Squibs as well.
We now have two talented editors, Noelle Stone and Sarai Glaze, who will alternate editing our monthly editions, bringing fresh perspectives and new energy to a publication that has been part of my professional life for more than 20 years.
Our goal is simple: make Stephens’ Squibs better than ever.
And here’s where I’d love your help.
If you know an attorney, mental health professional, financial professional, law student, or anyone else who might enjoy receiving our monthly family law updates, please share this post with them and encourage them to subscribe to Stephens’ Squibs.
The more people we reach, the more opportunities we have to educate, exchange ideas, and contribute something meaningful to our professional community.
You can also explore the 2026–2027 Palm Beach Charity Register and see our firm’s feature here.

As I look around our new office, surrounded by an incredible team and reminded daily of how fortunate I am to do what I love, I can’t help but feel that the best chapters of this story are still ahead.
Thank you to everyone who has supported this journey, encouraged our new beginning, and helped make our community a better place.
And a special thank-you to Adam Jones for reminding me that sometimes the best way to connect with people is simply to show up, be yourself, and wag your tail.
Onward and upward!
