Join Stephens & Stevens in Supporting The Lord’s Place

Donate to help break the cycle of homelessness — and we’ll send you a signed copy of Stephens’ Squibs (for gifts of $100+)

At Stephens & Stevens, we spend our days helping families navigate some of life’s hardest transitions. And if there’s one truth that shows up again and again—inside and outside the courtroom—it’s this:

Stability changes everything.
A safe place to sleep. A door that locks. An address you can put on a job application. A home base where healing can actually begin.

That’s why our firm is proud to raise money and awareness for The Lord’s Place, whose mission is to “break the cycle of homelessness by providing innovative, compassionate, and effective services to men, women and children in our community.”

Why this matters here, at home

Homelessness isn’t “somewhere else’s problem.” It’s here in Palm Beach County—and it touches more people than most of us realize. A City of Lake Worth Beach proclamation supporting this year’s March notes that the event aims to raise awareness of approximately 3,000 men, women, and children who are homeless each night in Palm Beach County.

The Lord’s Place has been doing this work for decades—serving men, women, and families in our community for 45 years through compassionate, effective programming.

The March to End Homelessness — and how you can help

This year’s Second Annual March to End Homelessness takes place Friday, February 27, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at Centennial Square (150 N. Clematis Street), West Palm Beach.

Whether you can join the march in person or not, you can still make a real impact by supporting our fundraising page. Every donation helps fuel the services that move people from crisis to stability—and from survival to opportunity.

Our thank-you gift: Stephens’ Squibs (signed) for $100+ donors

To encourage meaningful giving (and to say thank you in a way that’s very “us”), we’re doing this:

Anyone who donates $100 or more will receive a signed copy of this year’s Stephens’ Squibs book.
It’s our annual labor of love compiling and organizing Florida family-law appellate updates—useful to lawyers, judges, and anyone who cares about how the law impacts real families.

How to claim your signed copy (simple):

  1. Make your donation using our fundraising link below.
  2. Save your donation confirmation (email or screenshot).
  3. Message us your mailing address plus proof of donation, and we’ll get your signed book out to you.

(While supplies last. If you’d rather we send your signed copy to a school, library, or young lawyer instead—tell us. We love that.)

If you can’t give $100, give what you can—and share this

Not everyone can do $100. We get it. Truly. But if a hundred people give $25, that’s momentum. If one person shares this post with the right network, that’s momentum too.

So here’s the ask:

  • Donate if you can
  • Share this post (it costs nothing and spreads awareness)
  • Join our team and walk with us! (Click Here for that!)
  • Show up on February 27 if you’re local and want to march alongside the community

Thank you for standing with us—and for standing with neighbors who deserve dignity, stability, and a real path forward.
