Eddie E. Stephens, III has been awarded the Alberto Romero Jr. Making a Difference Award by The Family Law Section of the Florida Bar. Stephens was recognized for his dedication to the state’s children and families. He was also given the Family Law Section Unsung Hero Award, in addition to the Family Law Section Above and Beyond Award.
Stephens is board certified in family and marital law and focuses on highly disputed divorce cases. He has been a leader in the Boy Scouts of America for over 10 years and is also involved with Big Dog Ranch Rescue. He graduated from the Leadership Palm Beach County Class of 2015 and served on its board of governors. Most recently, Stephens was appointed as co-chair for the Florida Bar family law section’s technology committee, and was elected as a member of the board of directors for the Center for Child Counseling in Palm Beach County. Stephens earned his J.D. at Stetson University College of Law.
