Squib Books About to Ship

Good news: Our 2022 Edition of Stephens’ Squibs are packed and ready to be shipped! My mail-person is going to LOVE me.

If you ordered one, keep an eye on your mailbox next week!

The not so good news is only half of them have book plates (stickers) signed by the author of the foreword, Leslie Gray Streeter. Leslie is awesome! She was a feature writer for the Palm Beach Post for 20 years and is the author of the book “Black Widow”.

If you are interested in getting a book plate (sticker) with Leslie’s signature no problem. Email me and I will send you one at my expense. Might take a few weeks because Leslie is a busy rock star. I picked the ones we got from her yesterday in between her teaching a master class at FAU and her book reading and book signing.

We sold 150 books. I paid for the books and postage, so we ended up raising $7,500 for the Center for Child Counseling., Inc., which is a very good thing! 🙂

I have never made a penny for any of the books I have published or the CLE’s we produce. Writing these summaries and talking about them is the way I learn tweaked as a vehicle to raise money for worthy causes.

To think something I created as a learning tool has become sought after information from my peers kind of blows my mind and humbles me.
